Neurodiversity
While absolutely not a cure, osteopathy is a safe and gentle system of health care designed to optimise the personal health of all who receive it.
Treatment approach
Here at the Osteopath Clapham Julieann tends to opt for the more non-invasive forms of osteopathy when treating people with congenital issues. However, the odd person does prefer a stronger approach. As with anyone, treatment is tailored to the individual’s need and preference. The focus is the person. The aim is health.
Safety and experience
Whatever the treatment approach, parents and carers can be assured that osteopathy is safe. Osteopaths are highly trained practitioners, recognised as primarily care and regulated by the General Osteopathic Council. In addition, as the Osteopath Clapham, Julieann has many years of experience working with this patient group. She was the resident osteopath at the Lambeth Walk day care centre for adults with profound and multiple learning difficulties for twenty years, worked with people through Mencap and Choice and treated children with a variety of congenital and genetic issues whilst undergoing her postgraduate training in paediatric osteopathy.
